What Makes the FNP Certificate Different?
The certificate builds on your existing MSN, DNP or PhD, so you don’t need to start over with a new degree program. You’ll get focused education and clinical experience in family practice without the extra coursework that comes with pursuing another master’s or doctorate.

We’ve lost that personal connection in healthcare. Patients aren’t ‘the upper respiratory infection in room one,’ they’re a real person who doesn’t feel good. That’s why our program focuses on bringing that personal connection back and teaching true holistic care to our students.
Who Should Apply?
Registered nurses who already hold a master’s degree or higher in nursing and want to expand their scope of practice should apply to this program. You’ll develop skills to provide primary care with greater clinical independence, and completion of this certificate qualifies you to take the FNP certification exam and practice as a family nurse practitioner.
